This project consists of a mixed development programme, where habits bring the building to life. The built element features four facades surrounding a central garden, accessible to residents as well as passers-by and serving a variety of ground-floor business premises (workshops, studios, home offices). The building consists in a base of regular height topped with an inhabited two-floor rooftop (featuring a coffice – both a café and a neighbourhood shared office space). The façades show two different expressions: a sleek surface on the street side, echoing the urban surroundings, and on the garden side an arrangement of suspended balconies, which make the shape of building fade into the background and provide ample exteriors with broad views of the garden.
