42 HOUSING UNITS, MONTREUIL

Located on a hemmed-in site burdened with easements, the project sought to optimise the positioning of the buildings to connect them with the surrounding area. A passageway running across the middle of the plot serves a collective eight-storey building and two small intermediary blocks, that ensure continuity with the adjacent suburban district. For the main building, a series of offset volumes creates a dynamic relationship with the surrounding buildings, while simultaneously providing excellent housing conditions.
