The project is located near the canal, within the Danube eco-district. It consists of two volumes connected by walkways, creating a pivotal articulation and accentuating a duality of architectural styles. The folded and dynamic shape of the facade on the street side is inspired by the staggered frontage of eclectic buildings nearby. At the back, the project harmonises with the existing constructions overlooking the public square. The ninth floor hosts corner apartments with continuous balconies, the fourth floor features an array of interlocking duplexes organised like stacked individual homes. The design’s stylistic simplicity reinter-prets both the codes of Strasbourg architecture and the port atmosphere.
