CITY ENTRANCE, DIFFERDANGE

The project aims to create a new entranceway to the town of Differdange that will take long term urban developments into consideration.
The intention is to create an attractive urban environment connected to the traditional town. It will offer a varied programme (shopping centre, hotel, offices, day-care centre and housing) alongside a strong morphology: a landscaped base providing the support for a “signature” tower block.
The volumetry seems to be sculpted by the flow movements (pedestrians and cars) alongside each of the project’s façades, favouring a natural insertion into the urban fabric. The upper floors will contain luxury apartments (duplex or triplex) but also be accessible to all residents, providing them with a shared space (greenhouses) and distant views.
