44 PASSIVE RESIDENTIAL AND OFFICE UNITS, GRENOBLE

The project is designed in two parts – an emergence on the main street side and a stepped building on the garden side – each playing an urban role, articulated around a common hall and organised around terraces and communal areas for the benefit of residents. The proposed layout is “à la carte”, with the floor plates free to be modulated as future buyers wish, thanks to a regular grid of facades and a regular structure. The concrete structure with reinforced external insulation, including the uncoupled exoskeleton forming the balconies, have enabled the building to achieve Passivhaus certification.
