In the La Confluence district, macro-lots B1 and C1N present a new facade opening onto the Rhône River. At the heart of this complex, a lush garden becomes the focal point, uniting the buildings both visually and functionally. Within this development, the four buildings designed by PPX engage in a subtle dialogue between framework and solidity. Designed as versatile and reversible structures, the two educational buildings allow for adaptable functions. A tall building, constructed with a concrete-wood structure, primarily offers duplex residences with dual orientations and double-height loggias. A small building comprising ten units, entirely constructed from wood, provides cross-through duplexes, each with a south-facing loggia. The ambition is to provide collective housing with the qualities of individual dwellings, and vice versa.
